The local utility PNG Power Limited (PPL) requested IFC to explore what could be done to attract the private sector for power generation in remote centers, to improve the reliability and the quality of power supply and reduce financial losses. IFC contracted TTA to provide technical support during due diligence, transaction structuring and tender process implementation.
