The objective was to serve as owner’s engineer and project managers for implementation of 2 solar PV mini-grids:
Phase 1: Review and Verification of concept design and detailed engineering, serving as technical expert to the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Eritrea. Advisory services related to procurement plan and of long-term sustainability and O&M plan review among other aspects.
Phase 2: Construction supervision of the 2 solar PV mini-grids, of 2.2 MW aggregated capacity and 4.2 MWh of lithium-ion storage, including project management and technical advisory services, as well as assessment of training and capacity building.
