Within the Scaling-Up Renewable Energy Program (SREP), the objective is to implement a solar PV plant of 2 to 5 MW with batteries, connected to a decentralized electricity network operated by the public sector under EDH (Electricity of Haiti) or by a private company (Network Operator). This PV plant implementation aims at demonstrating the technical, economic, financial and operation viability of investments in grid-connected renewable energy projects. Thus, bringing about a demonstrative effect and serving for training purposes, as well as for replication and scaling up this initiative.
TTA, as owner’s engineer, assists the Energy Cell and EDH in the necessary activities for the project execution, including among others: studies and preliminary design, preparation of the bidding process and selection of contractor, project management, construction supervision, environmental and social management and strengthening of capacities.
