Xavier Vallvé, Director of TTA was invited as a member of the International Scientific Committee to act as a Topic Organiser of the Conference and Exhibition, in the area of “Off-grid Applications”. As a speaker, in the panel “From Components to Design Options for Off-grids” he made a presentation on the “Implementation of a PV Rural Micro Grid in the Island of Santo Antão (Cape Verde) with an Individual Energy Allowance Scheme for Demand Control”, which was co-authored with Matteo Briganti (TTA), and with the input from the other parties involved, Technical University of Lisbon of Portugal and Aguas de Ponta Preta – Ilha doSal and Municipìo de Porto Novo of Santo Antâo from Cape Verde.
