Within this framework, TTA supported GIZ with the drafting of three regional Standards for PV-based mini-grids in West Africa. These standards are mainly technical and focus on the installation and inspection procedures, as well as on inverters. Once drafted, these standards were presented at a regional workshop with Ministries of Energy, electrification agencies and standardization bodies of the ECOWAS region. The draft standards are to be sent to the regional electrotechnical committees for further revision.
