Contract launched in Tanzania, November 2015
TTA and ENSOL Ltd (TZ) have kicked-off a 50kW solar PV micro-grid in Mpale community, near Korogwe in Tanzania. This is the first micro-grid TTA deploys in Tanzania, which will count with TTA’s EDA (Energy Daily Allowance) concept application. The project is co-funded by the « Energy and Environment Partnership Programme –EEP».

TTA in association with MCG and WWI is providing technical assistance services related to this contract awarded by GIZ and the EU Energy Initiative Partnership Dialogue Facility (EUEI PDF). TTA’s mandate includes studies on over 40 villages in the country and the definition of a strategy for rural electricity access.
